About the Presenter
Deanna Kay Rice works to inspire future educators to create safe and brave spaces for pupils to learn. She has over 20 years of experience in special education as a middle school teacher, teacher educator, mentor, and professional development presenter. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Louisiana State University and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Central Arkansas.
