Nancy Boyles, Ed.D., was a classroom teacher for many years and is now Professor Emerita at Southern Connecticut State University, where she was Professor of Reading and Graduate Reading Program Coordinator. Currently a consultant, she provides on‑site and virtual workshops, models classroom best practices, and assists with curriculum development. Dr. Boyles has written 12 books, a program for small‑group instruction, and resources that integrate literacy and SEL. Her newest book is <em>Writing Awesome Answers to Comprehension Questions (Even the Hard Ones)</em>.
