2. Instructional Planning with Teacher Dashboard
Participants will explore how to create personalized lesson plans that reflect their daily schedule and to create a My Plan to deliver automated lesson plans and interactive lessons to students using Unique Learning System.

3. Using Data for Planning and Monitoring
Participants will examine how to utilize the n2y GPS assessments to monitor monthly skills and yearly progress to access student performance data to drive instruction, demonstrate student growth, and support compliance documentation.

- Participants will locate data collection tools in Unique Learning System.
- Participants will establish student baselines and create annual IEP goals using Present Levels of Performance by completing the Observational Learning Profile.
- Participants will involve students in conversations about their ongoing learning and performance, utilizing both monthly and yearly progress reports and comparison data.
- Students will assume ownership of instructional content and engagement through reflection on and utilization of performance data.

4. Differentiated Instruction
Participants will identify the supports and strategies within the monthly lessons and highlight the differentiation within the activities and materials. Participants will also review the tools within the instructional guides and materials to provide additional student support.

- Participants will adjust unit lessons through classroom and individual student settings.
- Participants will adjust override settings to address differentiated levels of support based upon student data and performance.
- Students will use differentiated level supports and strategies to increase the completion of instructional activities.

5. Building Transition Plans and Supports
Participants will learn how to utilize the transition tools and assessments in Unique Learning System to support building effective transition plans and activities to further develop students’ transition readiness skills.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will identify students’ transition readiness levels through the use of Core Rubrics and/or transition planning.
- Participants will utilize student’s responses in the transition planning tool to support development of transition plans.
- Participants will use the Core Rubrics to create pre-readiness transition goals and objectives for IEPs.
- Students will utilize personal data and increase participation in the IEP process to support student advocacy.

6. Introduction to SymbolStix PRIME
Participants will learn how to search, save, and organize symbols and collections and to create language and communication activities with the Board Wizards to support students’ engagement and learning.

- Participants will generate a collection from options on the homepage.
- Participants will create and assign boards to support students during instruction, transition, or home.
- Participants will build collaboration by sharing boards and folders with colleagues.
- Students will utilize the assigned boards for support during instruction, transition, or home to increase engagement and participation.

7. Introduction to News2you and L3 Skills
For News2you, participants will learn how to locate Current Issues and Breaking News articles that will increase connection to the world and to identify multiple activities that can build conversation, engagement, and social interaction throughout the school day. For L3 Skills, participants will learn how to search and assign appropriate activities to provide students with skill practice in a game-like environment.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will incorporate News2you into a routine schedule and engage students in current events.
- Participants will set differentiated expectations for each Student View.
- Participants will assign L3 Skills activities to students for skills practice.
- Students will explore interactive content areas that connect them to real-world, relevant stories, as well as fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote lifelong learning and mastery.

8. Data Interpretation and Data Analytics
Participants will learn how to utilize the data assessment tools within our total solution to analyze and interpret reports, which will guide data-driven decisions to meet student learning objectives and facilitate conversations during parent-teacher conferences.

- Participants will utilize data points to increase student participation or modify instruction.
- Participants will identify resources to assist with writing Present Levels of Performance using the Observational Profile.
- Participants will analyze the data to monitor progress and collaborate on students’ IEP goals and objectives.

9. Literacy Strategies
Participants will learn how to use evidence-based practices within Unique Learning System to develop reading skills and access resources to improve literacy instruction for students with unique learning needs. If applicable, participants will gain a better understanding of exploring literacy instruction through Classics and the differentiated leveled texts within News2you. Our solution expert will share the scope and sequence of our reading instructional materials and give practical tips and tricks that will ensure a successful year.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will explore how to provide differentiated reading instruction.
- Participants will locate the scope and sequence of our reading instructional materials.
- Participants will identify the literacy instruction available through Classics.
- Participants will recognize and assign one of the four differentiated leveled texts within News2you to Student View.
- Students will use accessibility settings and Student View supports to increase reading skills, participation, and engagement.

10. Making Meaningful Math Connections
Participants will see how Unique Learning System contains a complete math program that looks at five areas of mathematics standards: number sense, spatial sense/geometry, algebra, measurement, and data and probability. Participants will focus on how the lessons develop problem-solving using simple, real-life word problems that gradually develop to longer, real-life math scenarios. If applicable, participants will gain a better understanding of exploring math instruction through News2you, SymbolStix PRIME, and multiple activities in L3 Skills. Our solutions wll provide conceptual progression that builds on mathematics skills from previous grade bands and provides a strong connection to state standards, daily living experiences, and the problem-solving process.
Learning Outcomes
- Teachers will access the Number Journal to provide students opportunities to practice math skills.
- Teachers will learn how to change the differentiation settings in Dynamic Math to support students’ additional practice during classroom instruction.
- Teachers will locate the scope and sequence of our math instructional materials.

11. Start the Year Strong with ULS Essential Tools
Participants will see how to easily set up Unique Learning System to streamline the first few weeks of the school year. Participants will learn how to set up students for success to access solutions, prepare classroom instructional delivery through My Schedule, My Plan, and accessing the unit lessons. Participants will kick off data monitoring through understanding the value and completion of the Observational Profiles. Time will be dedicated to hands-on discovery activities of these essential tools to further deepen the teacher experience.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will learn how to easily set up Unique Learning System to streamline the first few weeks of the school year.
- Participants will manage class lists by adding, dropping, editing, and sharing students.
- Participants will promote individualized learning by setting up student logins and configuring student view.

12. Set Up a Smooth Transition by Ending the Year Right!
Participants will see how our total solution supports end-of-year activities and preparation for fall, as well as extending learning over the summer. Participants will review assessment data and analyze progress to inform IEPs and get organized with end-of-year checklists to set themselves up for success for the upcoming school year. Participants will also learn how to plan and prepare for ESY or other summer programs with robust, standards-aligned activities and materials in our total solution support. Time will be dedicated to hands-on discovery activities of these tools to further deepen the teacher experience.
Learning Outcomes
- Participants will extend students’ learning over the summer through My Plan or assigning content to Student View.
- Participants will review end-of-year assessment data and analyze progress to inform IEP decisions.
- Participants will access the end-of-the-year checklist to prepare for the upcoming school year.
