Allison Childers, M.Ed.

Allison is a Program Support Specialist for Cobb County Schools. Allison has over 18 years of experience in special education. She previously taught students with disabilities in an autism classroom before transitioning to her current role of supporting teachers. She received a Master’s degree from Georgia State University and is currently pursuing her Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia.
Rebecca Eswine, Ed.D.
Program Support Specialist
Cobb County School District (GA)
Rebecca is a Program Support Specialist in Cobb County Schools. She previously taught students with disabilities in both general education and modified curricular settings. She received her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia State University with a focus on inclusion and high-quality teaching practices of low-incidence special education teachers.
Anthony Hughes, Ed.S.
Special Education Case Manager
Pinellas County Schools (FL)
Anthony has over 20 years of classroom experience, earning the prestigious award of Teacher of the Year at Largo Middle School for the 2021-2022 school year. He serves as case manager for his school ensuring compliant and high-quality IEPs that meet student needs. Anthony has earned three degrees in special education, with his most recent being his Special Education Specialist Degree from University of West Georgia. He is licensed in Florida and Georgia with certificates including Specific Learning Disabilities, ESOL, and multiple academic areas.
Candice Lewis, M.Ed.
Former Executive Director of Special Education

Candice is a longtime special educator and former Executive Director of Special Education for the Houston ISD, committed to equitable access for all children with disabilities. With a deep passion for ensuring student success and well-being, she has dedicated her career to launching and managing programs that positively impact students’ lives. Candice has successfully established strong partnerships with grassroots organizations, leveraging their expertise and resources to create comprehensive support systems. Candice is the Founder and President of Bridge Builders Education Consulting.
