About the Presenter

Brett Stevens is a literacy expert with over 20 years in the field of special education. She has served in a variety of roles within special education including as a teacher, administrator, attorney, and literacy consultant. She currently serves as an alignment specialist with n2y and is finishing her doctoral dissertation on literacy instruction for students who have been identified under the category of Autism. She is the host of The Science of Special Education podcast and runs the Science of Reading–Special Education facebook page.
